What to Expect

Time off to breathe and be

This retreat is all about putting you first.  No responsibilities or looking after parents or children.  Nothing to do, nothing to fix. Simply relax, be nourished with delicious food curated by Gita, our Retreat Chef, chill by the pool and enjoy daily mindful movement and meditation.

Explore the local area - we'll take a trip to nearby Vejer de la Frontera for an evening meal and stroll, and a day out to Bolonia to admire the sand dunes, or simply stay by the pool and read a book. There are plenty of areas to be quiet and enjoy nature, or communal areas to chat.

Everyone is gifted an Ayurvedic massage and a complimentary Five Element Health Assessment and you can take up optional extras such as horse riding, or additional holistic treatment.

We'll start the day with an energising movement practice, followed by brunch.  A little while later, we'll gather for a talk, workshop or women's circle.  The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool, before we gather together for a rejuvenating practice and supper.

Traditional Chinese Medicine seeks to balance yin and yang; when qi flows smoothly through the energy channels in the body, we feel happy and healthy.


Let's take an example.

The menopause can cause an imbalance in the Kidney, Liver and Spleen meridians and organs, that may manifest as hot flushes, irritability, brain fog, insomnia, anxiety, and dehydration internally and externally.  The Heart meridian can also be affected by insomnia, empty nest syndrome and a lack of joy.


When in balance, this natural phase of life can be positive, as it's a time to put ourselves first and express our true feelings; we may also enjoy a surge of creativity and spiritual connection.

A health consultation is a great way to find out what's out of balance, and to address that with a clear plan of action.

Staying in a beautiful residence  in 3 acres of land with a swimming pool, come together in community to learn a plethora of holistic tools and techniques from the wisdom of yoga, Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, while nourishing your body with delicious nutrition to support your health and happiness from the inside out.
