Menopause Workshops

Sleep Well Through the Menopause and Beyond

What effect does the menopause transition have on your sleep?  Why are you not sleeping as well as you used to?

Ayurveda - vata imbalance (air/space/dryness/bones/joints/anxiety)

TCM: Heart organ meridian imbalance; nourish kidney essence

Hatha; calm the nervous system and rebalance the endocrine system

Women's Circle followed by Menopause Yoga & Qigong Practice.

Expect a gentle, graceful, flowing movement practice and grounding inversions to calm the mind before resting in stillness.

Women's Health Retreat

1-6 October 2024 near Vejer de la Frontera in Andalusia

Transitioning through the Seasons of Life from Menstruation to Fertility to Second Spring

What to Expect

This retreat is all about putting you first.  No responsibilities or looking after parents or children.  Nothing to do, nothing to fix. Simply relax, be nourished with delicious food curated by Gita, our Retreat Chef, chill by the pool and enjoy daily mindful movement and meditation.

Explore the local area - we'll take a trip to nearby Vejer de la Frontera for an evening meal and stroll, and a day out to Bolonia to admire the sand dunes, or simply stay by the pool and read a book. There are plenty of areas to be quiet and enjoy nature, or communal areas to chat.

Everyone is gifted an Ayurvedic massage and a complimentary Five Element Health Assessment and you can take up optional extras such as horse riding, or additional holistic treatment.

We'll start the day with an energising movement practice, followed by brunch.  A little while later, we'll gather for a talk, workshop or women's circle.  The afternoon is yours to relax by the pool, before we gather together for a rejuvenating practice and supper.
